Learn about Dunedin Pride 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Kia ora! Nau mai, haere mai!

We're a volunteer-run organisation that's all about connecting and supporting Ōtepoti’s local takatāpui and rainbow community 🌈

Some things we do

We run regular PRIDE NIGHT events on the last Friday of each month.

We run clubs like the Open Book reading group.

We run Dunedin Pride Month in March each year.

We hold the Dunedin Pride Youth Ball in July.

We have a store where you can buy some cute tees that also support our mahi.

Behind the giltter curtain

We are run by a team of twelve committee members. We all volunteer our time to deliver pride in Dunedin and grow our fabulous community. You can check out more about our committee in the Star article celebrating our new team.

The seeds of Duendin Pride

We rely on the support of our community as we grow into a sustainable community organisation. Check out He Kākano, the seeds of Dunedin Pride and see how you can help us grow our garden.
